Leicester special needs children’s play aided by grant

Donations can make a big difference in a child’s quality of life, as Surbjit Kaur emphasizes. A special needs play worker, she works for Woodgate Adventure Playground, which is being funded by Children in Need.  The grant being offered pays for 30 children from the age of 5-14 to be supported by staff at the Woodgate Adventure Playground. The playground gives less privileged children a chance to exercise fun in a safe environment. This funding helps many children gain more confidence. Among these children is Amar, a once timid child has become more sociable as he talks more and is a lot happier. To read more, click the link below.
