Chelmsford head teacher defies special educational needs ruling

ESSEX, ENGLAND – An Essex County Council head teacher continues to educate pupils over the age of 19 with special needs despite the ruling ending state-funded education. Malcolm Reeve, chief executive at Columbus School and College in Chelmsford, will continue to teach 11 students over the permitted age as the school identifies ways to continue the pupils’ education.
